Tips for backpacking in Europe?

August 5, 2011 by

I have been to Spain and Italy before, so I know about hostels and the railway system. I was wondering more about extended trips- is it better to plan ahead and book the hostels or to go without any plans. I want to go this May for about a month, and I want to get my act together now so it actually happens. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

i lived in italy for 3 years. its so nice isn’t it? i miss it. you know all about the gypseys so watch out.

anyways to your question.. might want to plan ahead on the hostels because you never know they might be pack since you are going in the month of all the touring going on.

so all together plan ahead esp the hostels

good luck and have fun! =) ill be back there in 14 more years for 2 weeks.

It’s awesome. Make sure you take some zip loc baggies, so that you can shower with your visa and passport. Had mine stolen while I was showering in Italy. It is a bigger pain figuring out passport issues while abroad, then showering with plastic. Have a great time.
